Laser 4.7 - European Championship 2011 - Workum NED - Day 1
The first starts of the Laser 4.7 European Championships had to be postponed to the afternoon due to a too strong breeze at the scheduled start time. 415 Lasers from 29 nations sailed two races in a 15 kn wind. In the Boys category, Juan Cabrera ESP took the lead winning both races, followed by Filip Ciszkiewicz POL and Joel Rodriguez ESP. 270 boys racing.
Also winning both races was Maxime Jonker NED in the Girls category, ahead of Vasiliki Zografou GRE and Kim Pletikos SLO on the rank 2 and 3. The results, the race-tracker and the report.
