Major crash between 'Alinghi' and 'Team Extreme' in the fourth race of yesterday at Act 3 of the Extreme Sailing Series in Istanbul, the biggest crash on the circuit this year. In breezy conditions and gusts over 19 knots, it was a classic port/starboard incident, as 'Alinghi' tried to go behind 'Team Extreme' but didn't make and hit Roland Gaebler's boat hard putting a big hole in the port hull. Both teams had to abandon racing for the day. Here the video.
