Volvo Ocean Race 2012 - Leg 9 - Galway IRL Day 3 - 'Puma' USA 3rd in leg 9 and overall, 'Groupama' FRA overall winner
The Volvo 70 fleet reached the final destination Galway at the Irish West Coast during the past night, with the first four boats arriving within only 17 minutes. 'Camper' (Chris Nicholson NZL) crossed the finish line as first, confirming her second rank overall. Franck Cammas FRA with his 'Groupama' was second and herewith the clear overall winner of the Volvo Ocean Race 2011/2012. 'Puma' (Ken Read USA) and 'Telefonica' (Iker Martinez ESP) are on the ranks 3 and 4 in the 9th leg and the overall rankings. The report and the video.
