The two Laser Classes sailed their first Kiel Week 2012 races yesterday in moderate winds. Philipp Buhl GER has clearly taken the lead with the day ranks 1/2/1, ahead of Thorbjörn Schierup DEN and Jonas Stelmaszyk POL. The US sailors Greg Martinez and Chris Barnard are on the ranks 16 and 17. 73 Lasers from 18 nations participate.
With Tatjana Droszdovskaja BLR, it is the favorite in the Lasers Radial taking the first place after two races, followed by Julia Carlsson SWE and Silvia Zennaro ITA. 41 Radials from 14 nations participate. All ranking lists and the daily report.
