Volvo Ocean Race 2012 - Lisbon POR - In-port Race
Winning the In-port race of Lisbon, 'Groupama' with Franck Cammas FRA consolidated her overall lead ahead of 'Telefonica' now 8 points behind. With the start to leg 8 in view, there are still 4 teams who can aim for an overall VOR victory. Never before, the outcome of a Round-the-World race has been so close. With the start today to the relatively short 8th leg over 1940 miles from Lisbon POR to Lorient FRA around the Azores, the final phase of this regatta is initiated. As usual, the start will be transmitted live on the event-website.
