Olympic Worldcup 2011 - Trofeo Princesa Sofia - Palma ESP - a summary
We reported yesterday on the final results of the first European World Cup event. Again, England with the Olympic Champions collected first places in the Finns (Ben Ainslie GBR), the Lasers (Paul Goodison) und the Starboats (Percy/Simpson GBR) and proved to be the most competitve nation. But two victories also for France in the 470-men (Charbonnier/Mion) and 49ers (Dyen/Christidis), as well as New Zealand in the 470-women (Jo Aleh/Bianca Barbarich) and Lasers Radial (Sara Winther ). One victory each go to the Netherlands (Dorian Van Rijsselberge, RS:X-men), Spain (Marina Alabau, RS:X-women), the USA (Sally Barkow, Women Match-Race).
