The Optimist Europeans at the Adriatic coast continued yesterday in light and unconstant winds. The two Optimist Girls' fleets sailed two races each. Giulia Sarti ITA is the new leader ahead of Mara Turin SLO and Manuela Huidobro ESP. Luisa Nordstrom USA is 5th, Lauren Sullivan CAN 101st of 106 participants.
After three races yesterday in the Optimist Boys, Tas Kolman SLO is on rank one closely followed by Stijn Paardekoper NED and Andrea Orlando ITA. Jack Rieder CAN is 16th, Sean Walsh 37th of the 158 participants. The official report of day two has not yet been released on the Opti-Website.
