Volvo Ocean Race 2012 - Leg 7 - Day 10. 'Abu Dhabi' still leads over 'Puma' USA
After a 48 hours' speedy drag race in breeze from astern, the fleet will encounter another lull zone at the Azores' latitude reducing the gaps between the boats again. 'Abu Dhabi' with Ian Walker GBR was still on the first position this morning 27 miles ahead of 'Puma' (Ken Read USA). 'Groupama' (36 miles backlog) and 'Telefonica' (46 miles behind) follow on the ranks 3 and 4. Within the coming 48 hours, a repositioning will most probably take place and the one to reach the fresh breeze first will be in an excellent position to remain on top until the arrival in Lisboa.
