Volvo Ocean Race 2012 - Leg 4 - Day 16
Thanks to a fresher wind and a better reaching angle, 'Groupama' with Franck Cammas FRA extended her lead again yesterday. 'Puma' (Ken Read USA) is already 102 miles behind and the 3rd 'Telefonica' with Iker Martinez ESP is 159 miles back. The chasers hope now for the light winds in the approach to New Zealand, where the situation could possibly change, offering new tactical options. 1'150 miles are left to the finish line.
