Olympic Classes - Olympic Garda - Riva/Malcesine ITA - first races today
Around 100 boats from 24 nations participate in the 2011 Olympic Garda on Lake Garda, an event open for all Olympic classes. The highlight of this competition is the conclusion of the Italian Olympic selections for 2012. Despite of some rather small fleets, the quality is remarkable. To mention some former Olympic medalists such as Andreas Geritzer AUT (Laser Standard), Diego Romero ITA (Laser Standard), Vasilij Zbogar SLO (Finn) or Freddy Lööf/Max Salminen SWE (Star).
