As usual, the Extreme Sailing Series begins on day one with races on the open sea, this time in a 17 kn breeze with a 3 meter swell, that made sailing quite challenging. After 7 races, the dominators of this season are again ahead with Leigh McMillan GBR ('The Wave - Muscat') leading in front of Pierre Pennec FRA ('Groupe Edmond de Rothschild') and Roman Hagara AUT ('Red Bull Sailing Team').
