Décision 35, Classes ACVL - Geneva - Rolle - Geneva
Over 220 teams sailed the long-distance classic regatta Geneva - Rolle - Geneva, a last test before the Bol d'Or, taking place in a week's time. The start was given on a mirror-like lake, but lateron, the local Joran breeze filled in, bringing the boats back to Geneva in high speeds. The Décision 35 'Okalys' even lost the mast ! Winner in the multihulls was the CER team with Jérôme Clerc steering 'Realstone Sailing' ahead of the 'Ladycat' with Dona Bertarelli SUI and 'Rham Sotheby's' with Philippe Cardis SUI. 'Artemis Racing' (Paul Cayard/TorbjörnTornquist) rank 6 and 'Alinghi' (Ernesto Bertarelli) rank 7 fought a little matchrace in the second half of the fleet.
In the monohulls, Jean Psarofaghis on his Psaros 40 'Syz & Co' finished first. The final rankings will be posted on the event-website during the day. Read also the report of the Décision 35 class.
