Yesterday, the Royal Yacht Association published the decision of the Tribunal in the Ben Ainslie Case concerning the incident at the ISAF World Championship in Perth in December 2011 where Ainslie boarded a TV powerboat to complain about disturbance of the race. Having considered all the evidence put before it, the Tribunal was satisfied that it would not be appropriate for the Tribunal to impose a penalty over and above that imposed by the International Jury at the event, i.e. the exclusion from the Medal Race.
