Laser - Olympic Worldcup 2012 - Weymouth GBR - Day 5
No racing at Weymouth yesterday for all classes as the storm was blowing around 50 kn, and consequently the two Laser fleets remained ashore, ending the Sail for Gold Worldcup Event for most participants prematurely. Only the top-ten of each Olympic Class stay for the Medal Races today, where the situation for the Medals in the Lasers is fully open, especially in the Radials. Lijia Xu CHN leads with only one point on the tied Allison Young GBR and Sari Multala FIN. 13 points behind follow Evi Van Acker BEL, Annalise Murphy IRL and Marit Bouwmeester NED jointly together.
4 points is the lead of Tom Slingsby AUS on Philipp Buhl GER in the Lasers Standard. Tonci Stipanovic CRO on 3rd is already 11 points behind. The results, the daily report and the video of the day.
