The Tour de France 2012 ended yesterday after 24 days at La Seyne FRA with two short races, both with 'TPM-COYCHyéres' with Fabien Henry FRA as winners, at the same time taking the overall victory. 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) and 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' with Nicolas Troussel FRA occupy the ranks 2 and 3. 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Mettraux SUI/Jerôme Clerc SUI finished 5th as clear winners of the Amateur classifications. The final rankings, the daily report and the videos.

After a close race with constantly changing positions, the amateur team 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Metrraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI was finally the winner of the last transfer leg of the Tour from Gruissan to La Seyne. Finishing second, 'TPM-COYCHyères' extended her lead to 20 points, and the overall win after today's short races will hardly be missed by Fabien Henry and his team. Exciting the race for rank 3, as 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' (Nicolas Troussel FRA) 3rd and 'Ville de Genève' 5th are separated by 9 points only. Today, two short races are on the program. Yesterday's short races at Gruissan were cancelled due to lack of wind. Late in the afternoon, the fleet started to the final transfer leg of 122 miles to La Seyne-sur-Mer, awarding triple points, and therefore the decisive race for the overall victory. This morning, the fleet was still closely together passing Marseille in a moderate 10 kn breeze. 'Ville de Genève' (Elodie Mettraux SUI/Jerôme Clerc FRA) was 0,3 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henri FRA. Estimated time of arrival is noon today. Today, the M34 will be loaded on trucks for the dislocation to the Mediterranean Sea where the competition continues on Thursday with short races at Rosas ESP.

With the day ranks 1 and 2, 'TPM-COYC Hyères' (Fabien Henry FRA) reduced again the gap to the leading 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) to four points. The Tour de France at St-Cast continued yesterday with two short races with 'Nantes - St.Lazaire' of Corentin Douget FRA and 'Courrier Dunkerque' of Daniel Souben FRA as winners. Souben extended of course his overall lead. With the day ranks 3 and 6, the best amateur team 'Ville de Genève' descended on rank 4, but the gap to the podium remains small. The 190 miles' transfer leg from Dieppe to St-Cast-le-Guildo in the Northern Britanny ended yesterday afternoon, a very demanding stage with a 33 hours' upwind sailing in fresh winds. During the first half alone, the teams counted almost 200 tacks ! 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA demonstrates more and more her role as favorite, winning this race some minutes ahead of 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA yesterday. An excellent performance delivered again the amateurs on 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI, finishing 3rd in this triple points leg and moving up on rank 3 overall, obviously clearly leading in the Amateurs' rankings. Light winds prevailed mostly and during the night, the fleet anchored partly during hours. 6 of the 15 teams did not reach the finish line within the time limit. A leading group was ahead right from the start, and Nicolas Troussel FRA with his 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' finished first ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. Again with the best was 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux SUI and Jerôme Clerc SUI. In the overall rankings, 'TPM-COYC Hyères' extemded her lead. This morning at 7 a.m. CET, the 15 teams of the TdF are in their final approach to the finish of the transfer leg from Dunkerque FRA to Dieppe FRA. The fleet is closely together with 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' of Nicolas Troussel FRA only 0,1 miles ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 1,1 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. Again among the best is 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux SUI on the 4th place, 1,7 miles behind, and also well positioned to do even better. There remain 10 miles to go. The best team of the day, the Oman 'BAE Systems' (Cédric Pouglinac FRA) advanced on the 3rd place with the same number of points as the 2nd-ranked 'Courrier Dunkerque'. Among the winners of the day was also Ville de Genève with Elodie Méttraux SUI and Jerôme Clerc SUI, moving up on 6th with the day ranks 1/6/4, and taking the lead in the Amateur division. The Tour de France 2012 ended yesterday after 24 days at La Seyne FRA with two short races, both with 'TPM-COYCHyéres' with Fabien Henry FRA as winners, at the same time taking the overall victory. 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) and 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' with Nicolas Troussel FRA occupy the ranks 2 and 3. After a close race with constantly changing positions, the amateur team 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Metrraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI was finally the winner of the last transfer leg of the Tour from Gruissan to La Seyne. Finishing second, 'TPM-COYCHyères' extended her lead to 20 points, and the overall win after today's short races will hardly be missed by Fabien Henry and his team. Exciting the race for rank 3, as 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' (Nicolas Troussel FRA) 3rd and 'Ville de Genève' 5th are separated by 9 points only. Today, two short races are on the program. Yesterday's short races at Gruissan were cancelled due to lack of wind. Late in the afternoon, the fleet started to the final transfer leg of 122 miles to La Seyne-sur-Mer, awarding triple points, and therefore the decisive race for the overall victory. This morning, the fleet was still closely together passing Marseille in a moderate 10 kn breeze. 'Ville de Genève' (Elodie Mettraux SUI/Jerôme Clerc FRA) was 0,3 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henri FRA. Estimated time of arrival is noon today. The 190 miles' transfer leg from Dieppe to St-Cast-le-Guildo in the Northern Britanny ended yesterday afternoon, a very demanding stage with a 33 hours' upwind sailing in fresh winds. During the first half alone, the teams counted almost 200 tacks ! 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA demonstrates more and more her role as favorite, winning this race some minutes ahead of 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA yesterday. An excellent performance delivered again the amateurs on 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI, finishing 3rd in this triple points leg and moving up on rank 3 overall, obviously clearly leading in the Amateurs' rankings. The fleet is closely together with 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' of Nicolas Troussel FRA only 0,1 miles ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 1,1 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. The Tour de France à la Voile 2012 began yesterday with the Prologue at Dunkerque not counting for the overall rankings. In a 15 to 25 kn breeze, the teams had a last opportunity to test the equipment and train the manoeuvres under racing conditions. The Russian team 'Fasczinating Seas International' with Leonid Klepikov RUS was the surprising winner with a start-to-finish lead. The Oman 'BAE Systems' with Cédric Pouligny FRA and the co-favorite 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA followed on 2nd and 3rd. The report and the video of the day.

The Tour de France 2012 ended yesterday after 24 days at La Seyne FRA with two short races, both with 'TPM-COYCHyéres' with Fabien Henry FRA as winners, at the same time taking the overall victory. 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) and 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' with Nicolas Troussel FRA occupy the ranks 2 and 3. After a close race with constantly changing positions, the amateur team 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Metrraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI was finally the winner of the last transfer leg of the Tour from Gruissan to La Seyne. Finishing second, 'TPM-COYCHyères' extended her lead to 20 points, and the overall win after today's short races will hardly be missed by Fabien Henry and his team. Exciting the race for rank 3, as 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' (Nicolas Troussel FRA) 3rd and 'Ville de Genève' 5th are separated by 9 points only. Today, two short races are on the program. Yesterday's short races at Gruissan were cancelled due to lack of wind. Late in the afternoon, the fleet started to the final transfer leg of 122 miles to La Seyne-sur-Mer, awarding triple points, and therefore the decisive race for the overall victory. This morning, the fleet was still closely together passing Marseille in a moderate 10 kn breeze. 'Ville de Genève' (Elodie Mettraux SUI/Jerôme Clerc FRA) was 0,3 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henri FRA. Estimated time of arrival is noon today. The 190 miles' transfer leg from Dieppe to St-Cast-le-Guildo in the Northern Britanny ended yesterday afternoon, a very demanding stage with a 33 hours' upwind sailing in fresh winds. During the first half alone, the teams counted almost 200 tacks ! 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA demonstrates more and more her role as favorite, winning this race some minutes ahead of 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA yesterday. An excellent performance delivered again the amateurs on 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI, finishing 3rd in this triple points leg and moving up on rank 3 overall, obviously clearly leading in the Amateurs' rankings. This morning at 7 a.m. CET, the 15 teams of the TdF are in their final approach to the finish of the transfer leg from Dunkerque FRA to Dieppe FRA. The fleet is closely together with 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' of Nicolas Troussel FRA only 0,1 miles ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 1,1 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. Again among the best is 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux SUI on the 4th place, 1,7 miles behind, and also well positioned to do even better. There remain 10 miles to go. The Tour de France 2012 ended yesterday after 24 days at La Seyne FRA with two short races, both with 'TPM-COYCHyéres' with Fabien Henry FRA as winners, at the same time taking the overall victory. 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) and 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' with Nicolas Troussel FRA occupy the ranks 2 and 3. After a close race with constantly changing positions, the amateur team 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Metrraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI was finally the winner of the last transfer leg of the Tour from Gruissan to La Seyne. Finishing second, 'TPM-COYCHyères' extended her lead to 20 points, and the overall win after today's short races will hardly be missed by Fabien Henry and his team. Exciting the race for rank 3, as 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' (Nicolas Troussel FRA) 3rd and 'Ville de Genève' 5th are separated by 9 points only. Today, two short races are on the program. Yesterday's short races at Gruissan were cancelled due to lack of wind. Late in the afternoon, the fleet started to the final transfer leg of 122 miles to La Seyne-sur-Mer, awarding triple points, and therefore the decisive race for the overall victory. This morning, the fleet was still closely together passing Marseille in a moderate 10 kn breeze. 'Ville de Genève' (Elodie Mettraux SUI/Jerôme Clerc FRA) was 0,3 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henri FRA. Estimated time of arrival is noon today. The 190 miles' transfer leg from Dieppe to St-Cast-le-Guildo in the Northern Britanny ended yesterday afternoon, a very demanding stage with a 33 hours' upwind sailing in fresh winds. During the first half alone, the teams counted almost 200 tacks ! 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA demonstrates more and more her role as favorite, winning this race some minutes ahead of 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA yesterday. An excellent performance delivered again the amateurs on 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI, finishing 3rd in this triple points leg and moving up on rank 3 overall, obviously clearly leading in the Amateurs' rankings. Light winds prevailed mostly and during the night, the fleet anchored partly during hours. 6 of the 15 teams did not reach the finish line within the time limit. A leading group was ahead right from the start, and Nicolas Troussel FRA with his 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' finished first ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. This morning at 7 a.m. CET, the 15 teams of the TdF are in their final approach to the finish of the transfer leg from Dunkerque FRA to Dieppe FRA. The fleet is closely together with 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' of Nicolas Troussel FRA only 0,1 miles ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 1,1 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. Again among the best is 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux SUI on the 4th place, 1,7 miles behind, and also well positioned to do even better. There remain 10 miles to go. A 53-miles Coastal Race direction Belgium was on the program on day two of the TdF. 'TPN-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA took an early lead in the moderate 12-15 kn breeze race and defended it to the end. In a close fight, the overall leader 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) succeeded to overtake the well performing 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Mettraux SUI/Julien Clerc SUI just before the finish line. A 53-miles Coastal Race direction Belgium was on the program on day two of the TdF. 'TPN-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA took an early lead in the moderate 12-15 kn breeze race and defended it to the end. In a close fight, the overall leader 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) succeeded to overtake the well performing 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Mettraux SUI/Julien Clerc SUI just before the finish line. The second Swiss team 'Bienne-Voile' with Lorenz Müller SUI is still in a learning phase arriving on rank 13. In the overall rankings, 'Courrier Dunkerque' has a narrow lead over 'TPM-COYC Hyères'. After a close race with constantly changing positions, the amateur team 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Metrraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI was finally the winner of the last transfer leg of the Tour from Gruissan to La Seyne. Finishing second, 'TPM-COYCHyères' extended her lead to 20 points, and the overall win after today's short races will hardly be missed by Fabien Henry and his team. Exciting the race for rank 3, as 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' (Nicolas Troussel FRA) 3rd and 'Ville de Genève' 5th are separated by 9 points only. Today, two short races are on the program. Yesterday's short races at Gruissan were cancelled due to lack of wind. Late in the afternoon, the fleet started to the final transfer leg of 122 miles to La Seyne-sur-Mer, awarding triple points, and therefore the decisive race for the overall victory. This morning, the fleet was still closely together passing Marseille in a moderate 10 kn breeze. 'Ville de Genève' (Elodie Mettraux SUI/Jerôme Clerc FRA) was 0,3 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henri FRA. Estimated time of arrival is noon today. The 190 miles' transfer leg from Dieppe to St-Cast-le-Guildo in the Northern Britanny ended yesterday afternoon, a very demanding stage with a 33 hours' upwind sailing in fresh winds. During the first half alone, the teams counted almost 200 tacks ! 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA demonstrates more and more her role as favorite, winning this race some minutes ahead of 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA yesterday. An excellent performance delivered again the amateurs on 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux/Jerôme Clerc SUI, finishing 3rd in this triple points leg and moving up on rank 3 overall, obviously clearly leading in the Amateurs' rankings. This morning at 7 a.m. CET, the 15 teams of the TdF are in their final approach to the finish of the transfer leg from Dunkerque FRA to Dieppe FRA. The fleet is closely together with 'Bretagne - Crédit Mutuel' of Nicolas Troussel FRA only 0,1 miles ahead of 'Ile de France' with Jimmy Pahun FRA and 1,1 miles ahead of the overall leader 'TPM-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA. Again among the best is 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Méttraux SUI on the 4th place, 1,7 miles behind, and also well positioned to do even better. There remain 10 miles to go. The TdF continued yesterday with three light wind short races - Parcours téchniques as they are called this year. After a blooper (rank 15), the leading 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) was replaced yesterday by 'TPM-COYC HYères' with Fabien Henry FRA. The best team of the day, the Oman 'BAE Systems' (Cédric Pouglinac FRA) advanced on the 3rd place with the same number of points as the 2nd-ranked 'Courrier Dunkerque'. Among the winners of the day was also Ville de Genève with Elodie Méttraux SUI and Jerôme Clerc SUI, moving up on 6th with the day ranks 1/6/4, and taking the lead in the Amateur division. After a blooper (rank 15), the leading 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) was replaced yesterday by 'TPM-COYC HYères' with Fabien Henry FRA. The best team of the day, the Oman 'BAE Systems' (Cédric Pouglinac FRA) advanced on the 3rd place with the same number of points as the 2nd-ranked 'Courrier Dunkerque'. Among the winners of the day was also Ville de Genève with Elodie Méttraux SUI and Jerôme Clerc SUI, moving up on 6th with the day ranks 1/6/4, and taking the lead in the Amateur division. 'TPN-COYC Hyères' with Fabien Henry FRA took an early lead in the moderate 12-15 kn breeze race and defended it to the end. In a close fight, the overall leader 'Courrier Dunkerque' (Daniel Souben FRA) succeeded to overtake the well performing 'Ville de Genève' with Elodie Mettraux SUI/Julien Clerc SUI just before the finish line. In the overall rankings, 'Courrier Dunkerque' has a narrow lead over 'TPM-COYC Hyères'. 'Bretagne-Crédit Mutuelle' is 3rd. Finishing 1/1/2, 'Courrier Dunkerque' with Daniel Souben FRA impressively demonstrated her potiential taking the lead ahead of 'Crédit Mutuel - Bretagne' with Nicolas Troussel FRA and 'TPM-COYC Hyères'. The Swiss boats were not very lucky. 'Ville de Genève' suffered a disqualification and is on rank 12, 'Bienne-Voile' had problems with the fresh breeze and follows on rank 15. The Russian team 'Fasczinating Seas International' with Leonid Klepikov RUS was the surprising winner with a start-to-finish lead.
