The fresh breeze around 20 kn prevailing yesterday at the Musto Skiff World Championship favored again Bruce Keen GBR who succeeded to replace the 'untouchable' Richard Steenhouse GBR on top of the final ranking with the day ranks 1 and 2. Tom Wright GBR rank 3 completed the all-English podium. The best OZ sailor was Jon Newman AUS on rank 4. Roger Oswald SUI finished as best continental-European on the 5th place in the 105 skiffs' fleet. The final rankings.

The Musto-Skiffs World Championship in Weymouth began yesterday with two races, and - as always - the British dominate the competition occupying the ranks 1 - 4. The multiple World Champion Richard Steenhouse GBR is on top one point ahead of Nigel Walbank GBR and two points back Dan Vincent GBR. The best non-GBR sailor is Frithjof Schwerdt GER on rank 5. But excellent results also by the Swiss dominating race 2 with the ranks 1 and 3 by Roger Oswald SUI (12th overall 30/1) and Nicolas Duchoud (11th overall 27/3). Btw, the SUI delegation (6 skiffs) is the 2nd-largest in the GBR-dominated 98 participants' fleet. The results and the event-website.

Variable weather and moderate winds prevailed on day three of the the Musto-Skiff World Championship and two more races were sailed. Richard Steenhouse GBR continued to dominate with the ranks 1 and 3, extending his lead. The new second and thrid are Frithjof Schwerdt GER and Patrick Keen GBR, and only one point further back follows as 4th Roger Oswald SUI with the ranks 2 and 8 among the best yesterday. The Musto-Skiffs World Championship in Weymouth began yesterday with two races, and - as always - the British dominate the competition occupying the ranks 1 - 4. The multiple World Champion Richard Steenhouse GBR is on top one point ahead of Nigel Walbank GBR and two points back Dan Vincent GBR. The best non-GBR sailor is Frithjof Schwerdt GER on rank 5. But excellent results also by the Swiss dominating race 2 with the ranks 1 and 3 by Roger Oswald SUI (12th overall 30/1) and Nicolas Duchoud (11th overall 27/3).
