The Freestyle-Worldcup Double Eliminations were on the program on Fuerteventura ESP yesterday. As in the Single Eliminations, the final was between Sarah-Quita Offringa NED (Aruba) and Laure Tréboux SUI, with - again - Offringa having the upper hand. The dying breeze prevented the men from sailing the decisive heats, and the competition was abandoned after the preliminary runs. All other details on the PWA-website.

The Wave Worldcup on Teneriffa ended yesterday with the Double Elimination finals again in very windy conditions. Philip Köster GER repeated his Single Elimination victory defeating this time Alex Mussolini ESP. The duel of the Moreno twins went in favor of Iballa Moreno ESP, and Karin Jaggi SUI was again successful against her younger compatriot Laure Tréboux SUI for rank 3. The PWA-website.

The Seabreeze filled in early yesterday and two Eliminations have been completed, both with Björn Dunkerbeck SUI as winner and the clear leader of the overall rankings, as his fiercest opponent, the Slalom World Champion Antoine Albeau FRA, is back in the rankings after his flopped first Single Elimination. Winner of the day was Antoine Albeau FRA, followed by Björn Dunkerbeck SUI who maintains the interims lead in front of Albeau and Steve Allen AUS on 3rd. Only during the afternoon, the breeze filled in sufficiently to allow to complete the first Single Elimination with the final. Björn Dunkerbeck SUI was the fastest taking the victory ahead of Steve Allen AUS and Peter Bijl NED. The World Champion Antoine Albeau FRA had to content himself with the 4th place.
