A light breeze race terminated the Martigues Laser Europacup event yesterday after the otherwise windy weekend. The surprising winner in the Lasers Standard is Mustafa Cakir TUR, who, finishing on rank 2, controlled Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA, the 6th-placed at the Qingdao 2008 Olympic Regatta, in the last race. Michael Hansen DEN follows on 3rd. 81 participants. In the Lasers Radial, Levi Slap BEL defended the 1st position ahead of Jon Emmett GBR. The 3rd Marie Boulou FRA is the best ranked woman in the 220 Radials fleet. Ronan Huitric FRA is on top of the Lasers 4.7 in front of the best girl Linnea Valeri ITA and Jonatan Vadnai HUN on the positions 2 and 3.125 participants. All ranking lists and the short report.
