The Bacardi Cup continued yesterday after two days ashore due to too much wind in a fresh 15-20 kn breeze allowing to sail two - as always in Miami - very long races. Team of the day were Kusznierwicz/Zycki POL finishing 1st and 2nd and taking the overall lead, two points ahead of 0'Leary/Burrows IRL rank 2 and the tied Spitzauer/Habermüller AUT and Rohart/Ponsot FRA on rank 3. With the former World Champion Pepper/Turner NZL restarting an Olympic campain already on rank 5, another prestige name appears on the already long list of possible Olympic Medal contenders. 67 teams from 14 nations participate. The standings and the report of the day.
