4-5 bft and exciting races yesterday on the last day of the Fireball Worlds 2012. Winning race one of the day, Inns/Coultas AUS were tied with Gillard/Brearey GBR on top of the rankings, and the final decision was left to the last race. After several position changes, the English Tom Gillard/Sam Breary GBR finished the championship one point ahead of Robin Inns/Joel Coultas AUS. The Bronze medal went to Greg Allison/Richard Watson AUS. The results and the final report.

This morning (CET) the decisive races of the Fireball Worlds are underway in Western Australia. In yesterdays two races Gillard/Breary GBR and Inns/Coultas AUS continued their match race for the title (see picture) and finished both races on top within a boat length. Races were sailed in perfect conditions with a 20-knot seabreeze and 3-meter-waves. Befor todays races the Brits are leading by a four point margin on the Aussies. The results and the report. Todays results will be available on the event website round noon.

After yesterday's layday this morning the final half of trhe Fireball Worlds started in Western Australia. Today and tommorow four more races are scheduled. In the overall ranking Gillard/Brearey GBR and two points back Inns/Coultas AUS probably will fight out the title. Todays racing is already underway, first results should be available round noon on the event website.

Best ranked Swiss team Claude Mermod/Ruedi Moser SUI dropped back to 15th, Erich Moser/Jean-François Nouel FRA remain on 21st. The rankings and the report. Today is layday, on friday and saturday two more races are scheduled each day.
